The Young Writers' Endeavor 2022

Join us for our yearly writing workshop! This year's theme is "Contributing to Vibrant Communities," and we will be learning about Verse (poetry & songwriting), Stories, and Scripts.

For each topic, you'll study what the Central Figures of the Faith said about writing, get a chance to ask a professional writer all your questions, and work on a short piece yourself! Best of all, you'll give each other feedback and encouragement each week, so you can continue to become better writers.

DATES: July 2 to July 25, 2022.

HOURS: Any time you want! Just log in, interact, and make sure you do the assignments on time. Twice a week, though, you will be asked to participate in a live video chat with the group. The times for these will be announced!

COST: None! It's free.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. You must be between 12 and 18 years old to participate, with permission from a parent/legal guardian.

2. You must have access to the internet daily.

3. You must have a Google account to use Google Classroom (you can set one up for free!) and we will ask you to create an account on Discord so you can join our instant messaging server (moderated by facilitators). Calls will be over Zoom.
